Welcome

The Bat & Ball is a charming country pub, nestled in the small village of Breamore, you’ll find us just on the outskirts of the New Forest National Park

We promise to always make you feel welcome, whether you’re joining us for a beer and nibbles in the bar, or enjoying a leisurely meal in the restaurant.

Serving traditional English pub food, with a modern South African twist, there is plenty of choice and something to please everyone.

With beautiful countryside views The Bat and Ball’s large pub garden is perfect for relaxing on a hot summers day with all the family. We even have a large tipi Alfresco dining area you can enjoy too. And for those chilly evenings, enjoy a warm atmosphere inside with our 3 traditional fireplaces – you’ll find plenty of cosy nooks in The Bat and Ball.

Hydroponics & Sustainability

–  FROM  GARDEN  TO  PLATE  –

We have a passion for sustainability in the hospitality sector and are making changes now to impact our business and local area.

Our goal is to become less reliant on traditional supply chains, reduce food miles, wastage and ensure our customers receive more homegrown produce. One way we wanted to focus on achieving this is by growing our produce onsite hydroponically.

Hydroponics is the cultivation of plants without using soil. Hydroponic flowers, herbs, and vegetables are planted and supplied with nutrient-rich solutions, oxygen, and water.

Feel free to take a look around when you  visit us, just ask one of our friendly team for a tour!
